The purpose of our association is to sustainably strengthen the economic, social, cultural, and ecological development of Europe's regions. We see ourselves as a catalyst and bridge-builder: Our focus is on the establishment, support, and networking of cooperation and cluster initiatives that unlock cross-border synergies.
We are convinced that Europe's greatest challenges can only be overcome through joint efforts. We create the framework conditions in which knowledge is shared, technologies are transferred, and best-practice solutions are regionally anchored.
Cross-Border Partnerships & Project Management
Cross-Border Partnerships: We initiate, coordinate, and support cross-border and transnational cooperations between regions, municipalities, companies, research institutions, and other civil society organizations.
Project Development and Implementation: We handle the preparation, submission, and implementation of joint projects and funding applications. Our service includes comprehensive project management and controlling to ensure success.
Knowledge Transfer and Networking
Cluster and Network Building: We support the establishment and maintenance of clusters and networks to strengthen regional innovation capability and value creation.
Technology and Know-how Transfer: We promote the targeted transfer of technologies, know-how, and best-practice solutions among European regions.
Qualification and Exchange: We organize conferences, workshops, study tours, expert seminars, and training measures to maximize professional exchange.
Analysis, Consultation, and Advocacy
Research and Analysis: We create and disseminate substantiated studies, analyses, guides, and information materials on regional development.
Sustainable Development: We place a strong focus on promoting sustainable regional development, innovation, employment, and regional value creation.
Member Consulting: We offer comprehensive support and consultation to our members in the conception, financing, and implementation of regional development measures.
Advocacy: Through targeted public relations and advocacy, we strengthen regional interests at the national and European levels.

Close cooperation is our success factor. We work hand-in-hand with public bodies, research institutions, chambers, as well as private partners and legal entities under public and private law. Our goal is to involve these stakeholders early on as partners in our projects to create a broad basis for successful regional development.
